Greg Metcalf is a music educator, composer and professional musician who has performed with the Jazz Police, Jim Knapp Band, Seattle Symphony, 5th Avenue and Paramount Theatres. As a freelance musician Greg has performed in a number of studio recordings and concerts, including recent productions of Wonderful Town, Chicago, Company and White Christmas. . |

Metcalf has given concerts throughout the US, Canada and Europe performing with such notables as the Stan Kenton Orchestra, Buddy DeFranco, Diane Schurr, Dee Daniels, Carl Fontana, The Temptations, Ron McCroby, Bill Holman, Bernadette Peters, Linda Ronstadt, Johnny Mathis, Natalie Cole, Barry Manilow and others. Greg is sought after as clinician, guest conductor, and commissioned composer. He wrote Millennium which was commissioned by the WMEA for the All-State Jazz Band 2000. He has won the Teacher Of The Year and Golden Acorn Awards and was elected to the WMEA Hall Of Fame in 2006 |

Mike Mines is a graduate of Central Washington University and has taught band and jazz band at Valley View Middle School in Snohomish, Washington since1985. His concert bands and jazz bands are known for their consistent excellence throughout the Puget Sound region and have won numerous awards including 1st Place at Bellevue Jazz Festival in 2002 and 2003. Mike has presented clinics on band room management and middle school jazz band repertoire at Washington Music Educators and All Northwest conferences. He has served as clinician/adjudicator at many concert band, solo & ensemble and jazz festivals. And he has led the Big Band at the NorthEnd Jazz Camp for the past six summers in the Mill Creek/South Everett area. In addition to his teaching duties, Mike has performed as a professional trumpet player in the Seattle area for the past twenty-two years. He currently plays lead trumpet for the Jazz Police, is a featured soloist with the Jim Cutler Jazz Orchestra, |
